WHAT IS THE MOTOR TRADE PARTNERSHIP?

The aim of the partnership is to ensure that the consumers of West Yorkshire get a fair deal. Members of the partnership have signed up to the strict terms and conditions and are audited to ensure that they comply.

The Partnership is not just another Trade Association scheme. West Yorkshire Trading Standards constantly monitors the members to ensure that their procedures and practices are in line with the criteria of membership.

The Partnership is operated throughout West Yorkshire and is open to all businesses dealing with:-

• New Vehicle Sales
• Used Vehicle sales
• Repairs and Servicing
• Sale and Fitting of Parts and Accessories

The Partnership is an excellent example of alternative enforcement. By creating a strong working relationship with the Motor Industry it promotes best practice and builds consumers’ confidence.

Membership of the Partnership is on a voluntary basis. Members are making a positive statement to their customers that they are committed to ensuring consumer care and satisfaction is paramount.
